Stricter Gun Laws

Now That Charlie kirk was shot, can we maybe now get the republicans to finally agree on stricter gun laws? Do you guys think the republicans will maybe now be more open for such discussions?

Other than a mental health exemption I don’t see how it would help to have “stricter gun control laws”. Sad to see anyone become a victim of a gun crime but no end all solution exists.

@RunTheJulz There are mental health exclusions .. the problem is ever getting that information available to those doing the background checks. HIPPA rules prevent it unless there are arrest records tied to mental health episodes. Otherwise it defaults to people honestly answering questions on gun applications regarding mental health .. which fails if they lie, like Hunter Biden's lying about drug addictions, arrests, etc on handgun applications.
