Stricter Gun Laws

Now That Charlie kirk was shot, can we maybe now get the republicans to finally agree on stricter gun laws? Do you guys think the republicans will maybe now be more open for such discussions?

no. you cant take away the 2nd amendment. whats next? take away ppls freedom?

they shot the guy who wanted honest discussions. he didnt hurt anyone.
@RachelLia2003 wel he did, but of course can change the second amendment, especially when you think about the fact that the reason why the 2nd amendment was written isnt a reason anymore.

@Firewarrior

He did what exactly ?????

The Bill of Rights can be changed through the formal amendment process outlined in Article V of the U.S. Constitution, requiring a two-thirds vote in both houses of Congress to propose and ratification by three-fourths of the states. This difficult process makes major changes to the Bill of Rights unlikely but is the only legal way to alter or repeal any part of it.
@pdockal unlikely, but possible that is what i meant.

If you believe it's actually possible you don't understand politics and the topic
