There is an area of lasting damage with this that most don't consider in that profiling from regular people will increase, there will be more hostility toward Hispanic communities, people speaking Spanish will be harassed even if they're citizens and were born here. It contributes to a culture of bigotry.

If you live & drive in California, put a Mexican flag decal on your car. ICE will pull you over and then try to convince you to remove the flag that messes up their biased discriminatory stops!
