It is fairly obvious that this is politically motivated. If it wasn't he would be "cracking down" on crime in cities like Memphis and Birmingham AL. But they are in Red states, of course.

@wildland Yeah. Also interesting that white organized crime groups like the Bratva and the Irish mob have nothing to fear from him. Which is also suspect since they also largely operate out of blue cities so he has the political pretext to go after them if he chose.
