tRump said Wednesday (Aug 13) that Russian President Vladimir Putin must agree to a ceasefire at their summit on Friday or face "very severe consequences."
Friday Aug 15 came and went, there was a summit but no deal agreed to and no sign of any consequences whatsoever! tRump called it "a very productive meeting," but took no questions and never identified anything that might have been produced.
Yesterday, Mon Aug 25, this was reported.
C'mon Donald, is that just another meaningless line in the sand for Putin to ignore?? Let's look back on a few of tRump's earlier peace promises. And maybe ask yourself, why does tRump keep making promises he can't keep???
tRump, May 2023: “They’re dying, Russians and Ukrainians. I want them to stop dying. And I’ll have that done — I’ll have that done in 24 hours.”
tRump, Sept 2024: “That is a war that’s dying to be settled. I will get it settled before I even become president,” Trump said during his September debate with then-Vice President Kamala Harris. “If I win, when I’m president-elect, and what I’ll do is I’ll speak to one, I’ll speak to the other. I’ll get them together.”
tRump, Mar 15, 2025: "Pretty good vibes coming out of Russia" ... "I feel that Russia is going to make a deal with us."
tRump's tweet of, Apr 24, 2025, "Vladimir, STOP!" really sets a new record for impotent comments by a US President.

US President Donald Trump has said there will be "very big consequences" for Russia and that he will "step in very strongly" if no agreement to end hostilities in Ukraine is reached within the next two weeks.

@ElwoodBlues " IF " and " IF " Vladimir will stop the war then it will be happened in only 2 scenarios :
1. Either Zelensky will be agree with Putin's most conditions
2. Or Chinese President Jinping or India's PM Modi directly Intervene, and they persuade Putin to end the WAR
