I know the difference about sex and gender God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. That is the fact and we are fearfully and wonderfully made. @Jake966 Are we going to compare a line out of a book with "tastes and colors"? Because when it comes to tastes and colors, the judgement really is in the eye of the beholder. The bible, according to people like yourself, makes factual claims. They don't discuss something subjective. It's a pitty that we can't interview the author, because I'm pretty sure they would laugh with their audience that take it as serious as you do. You are aware that in every piece of fiction, the actions and events that occur, are taken at face value by the characters inside the book (unless they are breaking the 4th wall)?

For instance, the Red Sea crossing, they have found that area and have found remains of people, horses and chariots so I guess you really need to do some fact finding for yourself before you start calling something fictional
