If you’re a Trump supporter and you care about children, then it’s time for some hard truths

The point is that Republicans are usually the ones screaming about "protecting the children" - outlawing abortion, suppressing trans people, and raging at pedophiles. So why this sudden desire to shield Trump?

@LeopoldBloom This post was not about Republicans or Democrats. It was singularly about Trump. But you didn't post this so how do you know his point? Democrats had these documents for years. Why didn't they do something with them? You have no good answer. You say Republicans scream, "protecting the children". Why is protecting children bad? You don't have a good answer for that. Why aren't democrats screaming, "protect the children"? You don't have a good answer for that. Why aren't Democrats "raging at pedophiles"? You don't have a good answer for that. Everything I just asked you was in response to your own words.
I posted my response so I can actually state to you the point I was trying to make.... get ready... "THE DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS ARE ALL CORRUPT!" You will find both parties and many other rich, famous, and influential people at fault. Not just one singular hypocrite at the top. Stop targeting Trump and acting like he is the only evil POS involved. Be angry at all of them

@SW-User Biden was an institutionalist, so he wasn't going to release evidence in an ongoing criminal case just to satisfy the public's curiosity.

Democrats do want to "protect the children," which is why they are the ones demanding that the files be released, while the Republicans are dragging their feet. And I can remember when the first news about the Catholic Church protecting pedophile priests came out, and conservatives screamed about how it was a plot to harm the sole arbiter of morality left in the world. If you're against pedophilia, you should be against all pedophiles, not just the ones where it's politically expedient.

Trump is the one with the power to release the files and implicate everyone involved. You should be outraged that he has the FBI working overtime to scrub the files and make sure that nothing incriminating him ever comes to light. I don't have a problem with anyone on my side being exposed - can you say the same?
