If you are talking about the South China Sea, other countries' territories were invented by western occupying powers without regard for the rights of imperial China.

Exactly. A time will come when imperial US will lose all its military bases and territorial claims also. Imperial China is resurging and rising like a Phoenix to greater heights. The US has no cultural glue. Forget the latter day immigrants (Hmong, Vietnamese, Afghan, Syrians, Iraqis, Somalians, etc) from lands ravaged by US foreign wars. They all hate America even though they are lodged in towns and cities from LA to DC. Even the Mexicans and blacks hate Uncle Sam. And the Europeans are sucking the US Treasury dry and racking up the national debt to fight their damn forever foreign wars. China is something else. The Chinese, even those in America, look up to their motherland. And they are all smarter than Americans

They want to sell products? Or did we want them to make our products in the first place? I was not even born when my parents went to China. They were in the fashion business and among the first to move their products to China for manufacture. Sure, their economy boomed as a result of our sourcing suppliers from China. They were not begging for our business as Trump found out. They are not even held hostage to our high tech capability as Trump also found out. We helped Israel to bomb Iran using our GPS. The Iranians struck back using China's Beidou satellite guidance systems. The Chinese are ahead of us. They always were. Culturally superior. We are not even a race for crying out loud. We are a bunch of cowboys getting screwed by the sneaky immigrants in our midst.

@sree251 China decided a long time ago not to spend one yuan on R and D. They just steal . They can copy but not innovate. And cowboys and immigrants ? Lol

There is nothing wrong with copying. This is how we learn from each other in the marketplace. There was a time when every western nation was going to China to plunder and steal everything they could from the Middle Kingdom.

@sree251 Are we talking about the same China ? until 2000 the only thing they had plundered was their opium. They were a rural peasant nation that couldn’t even feed their own people and had many mass starvations , same as N Korea in 2025

True. They have faced and survived hardships under brutal imperial governments. Whole families died of starvation living in the streets. We can't even fight rice farmers in Vietnam and goatherds in Afghanistan. Our generals were playing golf in Danang while supply ships were plying our soldiers with Coca Cola and ice cream. If we didn't steal the atomic bomb from Hitler's Germany, the Japanese would have had our heads on sticks and we would be speaking Nippon Go.
