President Says He’ll ‘Lead a Movement’ to Eliminate Mail-In Ballots

This sort of explain why seeking advice from Putin was so important to Trump during his Alaska 2025 summit.

And he got validation from Putin, so off we go, to eliminate a system that works to insure most of the non-MAGAs get to legitimately vote.

Trump said today that he would lead a movement to eliminate mail-in ballots and would sign an executive order to “help bring HONESTY to the 2026 Midterm Elections.” Trump has long opposed mail-in voting and said it was a source of fraud during the 2020 presidential election, though his attorney general at that time said that his assertions of widespread fraud couldn’t be proven

Mail in votes can lead to fraud.
Voting is important though.
I really don’t know what is the correct way to go.

@specman Evidence of fraud? We have been hearing this since 2016 and nothing has been proven. I would love some evidence to read - truly. I respect myself too much to repeat Fox News propaganda.

@specman
Mail in votes can lead to fraud.

How about some examples of places where this happened, or even it's a possibility. "Can lead" means absolutely nothing.

For instance, is there a State or a County with a system in place, that could lead to fraud.

@Northwest tbh I know no place off the top of my head, but Harris County in Texas.

I don’t know if it’s true or not but they received mail in votes by dead people, illegal aliens and stuff like that.

@specman But is really a serious problem: people voting for MAGAs based on "what if". Reminds me of when Trump went on TV and said "what if Obama was born in Kenya, wouldn't that something, so based on my hypothetical, don't vote for him". Never mind that his hypothetical was racism to the core.
@specman not been any significant reports of fraud
I live in a vote by mail state, so I track it
