I approve of the The “Election Rigging Response Act"

That Newsom has put out in California. The way I see it is that we live in unprecedented times where authoritarianism is rising. We can't really afford to be moral any longer. Republicans are trying to take away minority votes in red states because they know that even Hispanic trump voters who've been deported didn't sign up to have their citizenship taken away. Granted they kind of deserve what they get as they only start caring if it happens to them but now even they are finding out that yes, the majority of Trump voters are white and yes they lied about not being racist.

But now, red states want to disappear democrat voters entirely and if Newsom is successful it might have unintended consequences but might also make it so that it remains fairer to liberals.

And honestly, it's the correct move to make. You don't have to like Newsom and I know he's doing it to win for himself but if they don't do this then we won't have another fair election again.
