Listen I love the muppets and a have many fond and important memories of Sesame Street but PBS has been politically compromised for awhile now. That's to say nothing of just the general decline of quality in their programs. When was the last time you watched PBS Kids. Do you even know who Caillou is, how about Pinkalicious, Luna the Moon, or Peg and Cat? How about Boobah? This was perhaps their worst show and it aired back when there was still a legacy to leave behind, the shows never got worse than this but overall they did become more and more braindead the longer they went on.

Arthur, arguably their best show, went from looking like this [media=https://youtu.be/J6Pyoi2mN1c]

to looking like this [media=https://youtu.be/T_wYGeVVC0c]

It's hard to call Prager U a downgrade

Just for funsies, here are the beloved Sesame Street Muppets and staff laughing at Joe Pesci calling someone a fag

@Jackaloftheazuresand i’m twice your age, have young kids and watch pbs kids regularly, and don’t know wtf you are talking about
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@trollslayer What was the latest episode of a show from PBS you watched and what was the plot?
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@Jackaloftheazuresand probably wild kratts. Can’t say what season or episode, and the plot was the same as just about every other I have seen with that fat cajun chef trying to cook an endangered species.
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@trollslayer The Wild Kratts and you can't even tell me the creature of the day, doesn't sound like you pay close attention to what you're watching.

Of the current PBS lineup that you are familiar with what one would you say holds the gold standard and which one is the lowest?
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@Jackaloftheazuresand are you talking pbs or pbs kids?
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@trollslayer Kids since that is what we've been discussing
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@Jackaloftheazuresand Molly of Denali the best one on now, IMO
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@trollslayer and the worst?
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@Jackaloftheazuresand havent seen all the new ones, but i found donkey hodie rather annoying.
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@trollslayer That's why I only asked for what you were familiar with.

oohh you hate Donkey Hodie well now we're really going to have a problem. It's classic puppetry mixed with innovative techniques and with practical gags. But nah, you're right about being annoying. They sing way too much and for a show that does 2 stories they don't have the time for that.

How many of their shows do you think are close to Molly's level? You can name them if you wish instead of giving a number
