[Politics] When a cease fire is a must, yet nothing is said about a cease fire...

Right. And when you should know what was talked about, nothing is said other than platitudes.

Prediction. Economic trade deals were talked about. At least Putin mentioned that. Ironically not even that from Trump.

No, the USA has certainly never been capable of negotiating, it's still not going to discuss the root causes of anything.
Putin will give you every chance. Trump's representing the country very well.. it's dangerous and cocky and running out of rope, and Putin can do something about it. Finally.

@Roundandroundwego This is worse than not doing anything. Trump INSISTED on a cease fire.

Putin won this round. Putin is the one continuing this war.
@DeWayfarer Trump is not in any position to demand that of Russia. The USA only pauses to rearm and Russia won't stop winning and shooting while they rearm Ukraine again. They already did that twice. Russia would agree to an end to hostilities with security guarantees. They haven't changed positions in years.
The West is arming to break Russia into three parts that it can own and exploit economically. Without that, they will collapse or destroy the entire world.
Putin is in a position to end the USA and Europe. Quickly. Keep taunting, keep going. I'm good with that!

@Roundandroundwego This is on Trump alright.

Yet solely because he INSISTED on a cease fire and DID NOT GET IT.

Russia refused to a cease fire! The rest is on Putin.

You can't get anything more basic than a cease fire!
@DeWayfarer no, you can't agree to a cease fire when the other party is a liar, like the collective West. Also, a cease fire doesn't benefit Russia. Ukraine and the collective West are losing. They want a pause to rearm. That's not a even a legit use of cease fire at all.

@DeWayfarer not really. That's unfounded, but of course it's a very important Western shibboleth that's very effective.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Roundandroundwego It's extremely relevant since the Soviet Union was constantly lying.
@DeWayfarer [media=https://youtu.be/TZEjOlmYb90?si=XeKuCnplTJdu4N1z] listen to Putin directly from today.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Roundandroundwego Guy I listened to this live. It's why I pointed out that Putin pointed out the trade agreements.
@DeWayfarer then you must believe he lied.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Roundandroundwego I believe neither said what really was discussed. Just the outward platitudes were made by either. Even possible trade agreements are nothing but A POSSIBILITY.

A lye by both.

A truth unsaid is still not the truth.

Diplomacy this the art of not saying the truth. Therefore a Diplomat is a liar.
@DeWayfarer certainly that's what a negotiating session with the USA is like. No knowing what was really meant, the USA lies consistently. So I expect Putin to solve everything with war.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Roundandroundwego you believe the USA is the only country with Diplomat's? 😆

Reread the art of war by Sun Tzu!

a war not fought is a war won.
@DeWayfarer I believe the the USA has no diplomats of note. Diplomacy would contradict their stated goal, world hegenomic control of all regions and all systems everywhere.
