1. It went about like President Trump predicted it would.
2. Trump WILL have earned the Noble Peace Prize, for sure.
3. None of us in the EDUCATED sector of America (read, RED STATES) were surprised when Putin admitted that if Biden hadn't stole that election the war never would have taken place.

@Reason10 Last I checked this morning Putin is still killing Ukraine civilians and soldiers in his attempt to steal Ukraine territory.

Stolen election? You are such a joke pal.
@Reason10 Tяump has been predicting he would settle that war even before he took office!! NONE of his peace predictions have come through!!!

tRump, May 2023: “They’re dying, Russians and Ukrainians. I want them to stop dying. And I’ll have that done — I’ll have that done in 24 hours.”

tRump, Sept 2024: “That is a war that’s dying to be settled. I will get it settled before I even become president,” Trump said during his September debate with then-Vice President Kamala Harris. “If I win, when I’m president-elect, and what I’ll do is I’ll speak to one, I’ll speak to the other. I’ll get them together.”

tRump, Mar 15, 2025: "Pretty good vibes coming out of Russia" ... "I feel that Russia is going to make a deal with us."

All leading up to this "Vladimir, STOP!" archetype of impotence!!

Tяump said the Alaska meeting with Putin had been "extremely productive." Too bad he can't identify anything produced by it🤣😂
@Reason10 Putin can call an end to the fighting whenever he chooses and have just as much right to a Nobel Peace Prize as Trump. He can stop the war; Trump can't.

@ElwoodBlues extremely productive = word salad
@AthrillatheHunt Nothing productive for the US, and more importantly, for Ukraine. These meetings are always on Putin's own terms, and he knows it.

@wishforthenight Orange has to look like he’s doing SOMETHING.
@AthrillatheHunt True, I guess. Hard to know what Harris would have done differently.
@wishforthenight She would have continued Biden's approach of supplying Ukraine with longer and longer range weapons. Imagine if electrical substations around Moscow started getting blown up. Imaging if Russians started waking up to no electricity. They need to feel consequences to make a deal.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@ElwoodBlues I think both sides are looking for de escalation , less weapons .i don’t think Kamala would continue supplying them indefinitely.
@AthrillatheHunt I think Putin's side is looking to prosecute the war as long as Russia can avoid consequences. Damaging the enemy's electrical grid is one of the strategies Russia used on Ukraine; it's past time to turn that strategy around.

Sitting down and jawing with tRump every once in a while has allowed Putin to avoid any serious consequences. These talks are a proven failure.

@ElwoodBlues what would that do to all the energy Russia supplies Europe ? (Russia and China are both chess playing countries and don’t make moves unless they see a check mate several moves ahead / very calculating )
@AthrillatheHunt European countries have been pretty serious about supplying Ukraine with weapons. UK has given them long-range cruise missiles called Storm Shadow.

May 27, 2025 — German leader Merz confirms Kyiv can now target Russian military positions with long-range weapons from Western allies.

@ElwoodBlues that sounds like a bluff
@AthrillatheHunt Time to call the bluff then. tRump has been played by Putin at every meeting. His talks fail every time. Russia needs to see consequences.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@ElwoodBlues At every meeting ? How many have there been?
@AthrillatheHunt OK, there was the The February 2025 Putin–Trump phone call, which was followed by tRump Vance Zelenskyy oval office failure. On July 3, tRump said his 6th phone call with Putin this year "didn’t make any progress."

I should have said contacts, thereby including these phone calls.
