Be aware of users here using real names and locations in fake updates without making that last part clear.

I've seen more than one "update" about events near my home (one of them being a real, active situation) without any source or indication that it was from a satirical news site.

This part is just my personal opinion but I do believe that a person's actions and words have some bearing on the nature and motivation of their politics.
