What do you think about Representative John Lewis not accepting Donald Trump as the legitimate POTUS?

Poll - Total Votes: 12
The polls look right. I see no surprise here.
It was MSNBC; what do you expect.
It doesn't matter what Lewis thinks.
Trump is facing some real hard times with the enemies he has made.

MSNBC conducted a Poll asking whether Jon Lewis should accept Trump as POTUS.
The results shocked me.
91% agreed that Lewis should keep his view on Trump as an illegitimate President.
77% were Republicans.
97% were women of all parties.

Why are you shocked ?

I thought that more people would oppose John Lewis' point of view.
Of course he was a major leader with MLK Jr in the Civil rights day of the 60s

Ok i think you have to leave the MLK detail aside for a minute and just look at what's happened.
America has elected a man with SUCH a divisive character.
With NO history of political interest.
NO public service record.
Who threatened to JAIL his political opponent.
To say NOTHING of his 'Let's build a wall !'
Lets deport every non American Muslim !
And countless other things said in his campaign that would have had the rest of the world scratching their heads saying.....'Really ?'
If you want to be shocked, be shocked that America elected a man without a plan !

@Picklebobble2: It is frightening how the US is drawn to "strong" non apologetic characters.

Desperately sad. Especially since you don't really know what is going to be driving his foreign policy !
What will drive his economic policy !(bearing in mind he wants how many millionaires in his cabinet ?)
How is he going to tackle the deficit; unemployment; an ever aging population that need care provision; ever rising prison numbers; etc etc.
Major problems but no solutions or ideas on HOW to tackle them.
I think what really bugs folk is this.
If Trump had run and won as an independent. We'd ALL be stood applauding right now !!
One in the eye for the political elite ! An independent who deserves support ! Yes ?
But he didn't ! He won as a Republican party chosen candidate !
So now we're all thinking......why in the hell would they think Donald Trump is the best candidate for the biggest job in the world ???
And THAT IS a worry !!

@Picklebobble2:
I do appreciate your well thought out concerns.

What is particularly intimidating is that a large number of cabinet picks are Billionaires!

@Pfuzylogic: All set to take advantage of inside information that will possibly make them all very happy !
