I suspect time will prove the more cautious approach to Trump's tariffs to be the most effective. Leave the 'portentous-announcement-an-hour' antics to the ADHD President and wait for the tariffs and decimation of the work force in agriculture and the tourist industry to bite the poor suckers who didn't realise they would suffer.

@Northwest Are people going North to settle over the border in any significant numbers? That would irk them a lot in the White House, but I know that would be a radical move for anyone.

@FreddieUK I don't have any data on that. I have a place up north, but I've had it for decades, primarily because I'm 2-hour, or 0 minutes drive from B.C., depending on where I'm spending my time. Pre-9/11, I used to walk across the field to visit with my Canadian neighbors.
