HIPFREAK -definition
Hipfreak (n.)
A post-hippie, proto-mutant with beatnik blood and a punkish grin. Too young to be a real Beat or Haight-Ashbury flower child, but carries the spirit like contraband in their secondhand bell-bottoms. Hipfreaks groove to the vibes of the '60s and early '70s but remix it with weird flair—maybe some chains, combat boots, or neon slime just for kicks.
Politically? They're allergic to the standard Left vs. Right cage match. Most lean left-libertarian or just plain anarcho-mystic, but don't ask them to fit in a box—they’ll set it on fire and use it to make art. Think acid-drenched idealism, minus the culty groupthink.
They're rebels, sure—but friendly ones. The kind who’ll pass you a joint, lend you a banned book, and talk about freeing your mind and the means of production. They're weirdos who know they’re weird—and dig it.
Example: Jane is a hipfreak. She’s got paisley tights, a Black Panther button, and a smile that says she’s reading your aura. She’s radical, chill, and a blast at parties.
