Maybe he should look up what a military drone looks like before buying more toy ones. 🤣

@NerdyPotato Come on, this man was a weekend tv host. How can anyone doubt his readiness to run our military. We'll be right up there with with N Korea in no time.
DanielsASJ · 36-40, M
@MoveAlong He has served army in capacity of Major.

@MoveAlong When you did not know about him, why did you comment? Does it make you look cool? No, it doesn't.
DanielsASJ · 36-40, M
@NerdyPotato He has dedicated his life to nation
MoveAlong · 70-79, M
@DanielsASJ WOW!! You're kidding, a real Major.

@MoveAlong Yes, A real Major. He has served in Iraq, I think.

@DanielsASJ Being a field grade officer in the reserves and nat guard and a tv personality does not qualify you to be in charge of the largest highest budgeted military agency on earth.
Get real man.
Get real man.

@MoveAlong He is a major in political science as well. And political science covers all the theory essentials a person should know to be at this position.

@DanielsASJ I beg to differ about his qualifications. Being a Major in the reserves and Nat Guard is not noting and I'm glad he served. But that does not prepare him to head an agency a like the DOD. He has no experience in managing a 850B budget which makes it maybe the largest agency on earth. He has no intelligence training on his resume. No experience of dealing with the military industrial complex and his poli sci major might prepare him to enter law school. No this guy is where he is because he flattered trump for years on tv. Like nearly all of trump's appointments they're just pawns and ass kissers he can move around on a game a board when he has a whim.

@MoveAlong I get what you are saying but I would give due consideration to
1) young blood
2) military service and combat credentials
3) He is a challenge to PNTGN 'deepstate'
4) his ideological push
5) vocal for policies due to his media presentation skills
On top, Pete Hegseth also served as a senior counterinsurgency instructor at the Counterinsurgency Training Center in Kabul during his deployment to Afghanistan in 2012. It does not make him full scale perfect for the job but provides him enough training to the wants and needs of soldiers when they are actually on long stretched war not distancing too much with common soldiers as was the case with Lloyd Austin.
Basically, he has shown an overall performance rather than being field specific. He has a moderate combat experience which makes him in line with the US policy of civilian role along with a military mindset.
