Are you an Obamacare opponent? Great news!

Benefit limits are coming back. That means, if you reach your maximum in the middle of your chemo, too bad so sad, you're done.

More good news! If you lose your job and lose your group insurance policy, you'll be denied coverage if you've ever had a pre-existing condition. Thanks GOP!

As a leftist, im glad. Premiums were ridiculously high and the doctors they supplied were tens of miles away.

Obamacare had good points, but all in all, it was a shitty bill forcing people to buy privste insurance. Ironically, much of the medical companies which donated large sums to Obama's campaigns. Perhaps now we'll have a better shot at single payer when dems get back into office in 4 years.

We can do better.
In a perfect world, the GOP would admit Obamacare insured millions, obviously needed some fixing, and worked WITH Obama to fix it. But they would have to admit to lying first.

@RootinTootinHighFalutin: Well, alls I know is my family couldn't afford insurance either way. So, we had to pay the fine, leading to less money for medical care. Obamacare being repealed will be helpful to my family and a lot of lower middle class families having to pay 400-800 a month for shitty healthcare with bad coverage. ObamaCare was just bad, imo. Just because someone has insurance doesnt mean they're better off. Also if they're young and healthy. I just view it as extorting money.

But. I don't know everything. Perhaps you are right. And i am somewhat uninformed on all the parameters of ACA. I just did not like the bill, at all.
@ColdPenguin: Had the GOP not killed risk corridors and crippled coops to force premiums up so people would blame Obamacare, we never would be where we are now.

@RootinTootinHighFalutin: hmm. Interesting argument. I haven't heard that. But, I still prefer public healthcare over forced-private healthcare.
@ColdPenguin: Obamacare has never been complicated. Ever. It was always about risk adjustment and health care costs. However, medical economics is complicated and doesn't fit on a bumper sticker. GOP politicians have been lying for years about Obamacare.

I wouldn't be. Something bad getting worse is not a good thing.
