@weirdbeatnik It helps the Right because it downplays how bad the Right is. It tells people that "both sides" are bad, when really we should be trying to use the Left to stop the Right from ending free speech.

CNN is controlled opposition. Their job is to help the Right by equating the Right and the Left. That's why they talk about Donald Trump and Zohran Mamdani like they're both bad. This helps Trump.
