What ever happened to not talking about politics?
Heard it my whole life (that and religion) and now it’s the only thing people talk about. Boring and sad. Anyways, enjoy your summer.

Keep in mind, America is on the verge of becoming a fascist oligarchy. When you're in that environment, it's hard to avoid politics. I'm sure during the Weimar Republic, a lot of Germans were like, I'm so sick of hearing about the Nazis!
Also, just looking back, it might have been a bad idea to keep religion and politics out of "polite conversation." The result is now that Fascism has become normalized. Maybe we should have taught children in school that democracy is good, autocracy is bad.
