Pam Bondi Axes Jan. 6 Prosecutors. Is this a brain drain of the DOJ?

Attorney General Pam Bondi has fired at least three career Justice Department prosecutors who worked on cases related to the Jan. 6 insurrection. They were “removed from federal service effective immediately” with no further explanation. Back in January, the administration axed several prosecutors still in the probationary period for their jobs who worked on Jan. 6—along with six senior executives at the FBI.

Meanwhile, immediately upon his return to office, Trump gave a mass pardon to 1,583 of his supporters who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6.

What argument is required. Pretty self evident.

Evident to you based on your perspective. Jan 6 was not an insurrection which amounts to a revolution that overthrows the US Government. Jan 6 was a political protest to prevent politicians in Congress from rubber stamping a questionable election. The DOJ mounted a prosecution to persecute and punish angry citizens who dared to question government bureaucracy. Heavy punitive sentences were given.
@sree251 It was absolutely a failed insurrection and sedition. Pretending otherwise is just a lie.

Threatening to hang government officials over hurt feelings because you lost an election is not a protest.

Since when was a threat a crime? Is intent punishable? Are we kids in a family or citizens of a country?
@sree251 When you storm government offices to carry out threats. This has been law for literally hundreds of years.

My family are not violent traitors.

When you storm government offices to carry out threats.

Come on. Citizens have a right to get angry with the bureaucracy messing around with their election. Management do get sacked and fired by stockholders. What's wrong with you?
@sree251 They were angry and throwing tantrums like toddlers because they lost. And they felt that they literally had the right to murder government officials to get their way.

And to use your analogy stockholder meetings even in the US don't involve active shooters or bombs.

Try again. This is quite deliberately dishonest of you.

That is like claiming the sacking of the Bastille was a rowdy tour group.

Jan 6 was not the sacking of the Bastille. It was not even anywhere as violent as the George Floyd riots.

Another right wing lie.

You sound like a coffee shop addict. Must everything be right or left wing to you? Can't you discuss a point objectively?
@sree251 I am sorry. Do facts offend you that much? Words have meanings. I am not going to pretend they were not far right because you have fragile feelings and don't have the courage to be honest about your politicis.

I can't with you because you just repeatedly lie.

Facts never offend me. I can even accept opinions based on facts. There is nothing factual about right or left unless you can establish the center objectively.
