There are other ways to combat climate change, including producing solar power in space and transmitting that to Earth, helping to further phase out fossil fuel needs.

We also can literally "shade" the planet from space, letting less sunlight in. Especially in the polar regions and thus slowly glacier and sea ice melt.

I've urged that we recognize Canada's claim over their Arctic waters and a AUKUS treaty for the Arctic, which would essentially stop virtually all current and future commercial shipping through the Northwest Passage.

I'd like to see the closure of U.S. military bases in and around the Persian Gulf. The U.S. Navy can handle anything needed in that area. I've long advocated that and felt it was a bad idea to keep troops in Saudi Arabia once the 1990-91 Gulf War was over had we simply removed Saddam Hussein from power at that point in time.

Former Democratic House leader Dick Gephardt (who I supported in his presidential run in 2004) had advocated a Apollo-like program to wean us off our dependence on fossil fuels.

Israel isn't the blame for climate change. Don't mix the issues.

There are a lot of problems with "Green" Dems.

You don't have to be a socialist to help protect the environment.

You don't have to abandon the principals of freedom and the constitutional rule of law in order to be "Green."
