Trump says: Too many federal holidays

[media=https://youtu.be/Hp9M6kEjjKo?si=TzlkVHZJcPLk0Rf-]

And he picked the 19th of June to make this statement.

Why?

Did he pick the 19th of June to make the statement because it is celebrated by Blacks commending the last state to get / give news of the end of slavery. Though slavery didn't end at that point. I wonder if he's including Martin Luther King's birthday?

Memorial Day was a few weeks ago why not that date?

The world knows the heart of trump

IMO, If Texas wants to make Juneteenth a state holiday, so be it. Juneteenth should not be a federal holiday as Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation had already freed the slaves in the US.

@IM5688 the 19th of June has been a national holiday

So Texas don't have to make it a state holiday, why would Texas when it's a national holiday.

@Charity Juneteenth, is a holiday commemorating the Emancipation Proclamation in the United States.

Although Juneteenth celebrations were documented as early as 1866, it wasn't officially recognized as a federal holiday until 2021, when President Joe Biden signed the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act.
