@fanuc2013 The Iranian government cares nothing about what their own people think. But newsflash. The people there hate the US. They have made that quite clear. ☺

@Zonuss Actually that first state I would say is not true. Just because they are a theocracy doesn' mean they do not care about their people. People in the west hate to admit it but the revolution had wide popular support and it was the first government since Mossadegh that they had any input in.

They don't like the US and UK for vary valid reasons. They long suffered under colonial puppets installed by the west and beyond that since 1979 they have never been treated as a valid country by the west, but rather as a rogue colony to be forced into line.

@Zonuss Oh and there was also the west basically using their puppet Saddam to start a bloody war with Iran as punishment for choosing their own path forward in which Saddam gassed Iranians with American made chemical weapons.

Iraq had chemical weapons because Don Rumsfeld sold them to Iraq.

People like to memory hole these things.

And then there was the more recently declassified info that once the revolution kicked off the CIA backed the Ayatollahs.
