That’s an article written by healthcare providers whining about how kicking Medicaid fraudsters off will hurt the providers income streams. I sure feel bad for them. Not.

@jackjjackson you need counseling. It’s about health care for a poor area and how health will be negatively affected. Are we all sociopaths?

You’re passing it off as something it is not. Typical propaganda from your ilk. @Kypro

@jackjjackson you’re delusional

Anyone that clicks your link is able to decide who wrote it and about what. You better take that link down if you want to keep trying with that “delusional” nonsense. @Kypro

@jackjjackson Did you read a different article? The one in the link goes way out of its way to show multiple sides of the issue, none of which bare much resemblance to what you said.

Healthcare providers are among the people who are quoted in the article, which was written by reporters. The providers are concerned that illiterate people who are eligible will be kicked off Medicaid for failing to completely and correctly fill out the new paperwork. The bill also starts with funding cuts, before any of that, which providers worry will cause clinics to close. This will not only create more unemployment but also result in people still on Medicaid not being physically able to travel to a clinic.

The article then shifts to bill supporter GOP Rep. Brett Guthrie. He cites a single right-wing source and tries to make a case saying that cutting Medicaid's funding preserves Medicaid. The only mention of fraud in the entire article comes from him. He makes the claim that some Kentuckians are spending their time playing video games instead of looking for work. People who don't have electricity and wouldn't know how to turn on a mobile device are spending their time playing video games. Yeah, that tracks.

The article shifts in the final part to multiple apolitical sources who say that (SURPRISE!) the healthcare providers are the ones who know what they're talking aobut when it comes to providing healthcare. In equally earth-shattering news, certified mechanics know a thing or two about car care.

The health care providers have never liked how much Medicaid pays them compared to Medicare. They should be helping their patients with paperwork. That is if they care about anything other than money. @SparkleLeaf
