If you throw enough stuff into the air, you might hit something.
Even something "invisible" can be hit at random with a lucky shot.
But, on the other hand, it is likely that the Ruskies have helped Iran improve its air defense system in exchange for all the drones Iran has been shipping to Putin to use against Ukraine.
And, on that point, what Israel lacks is the strong capabilities of the U.S. to disrupt and jam anti-air defense systems, especially given the distance they had to travel.
A U.S. strike on Iran would have proceeded much differently.
Such a strike would have almost certainly have begin with sub-launched cruise missiles from the Persian Gulf targetting Iran's air-defense system, followed up with an overwhelming number of Tomahawk cruise missiles launched from multiple directions, both from ships at sea in the Med, the Red Sea and Indian Ocean as well as from B-52s. There would have been little if anything left of Iran's air defenses before any manned aircraft entered the fray.

@beckyromero Yeah you might be lucky to down one but Iran has downed three in 24 hours. That kind of attrition rate is unsustainable. You simply can't use the F 35s for Iranian target practice. The fact is the Iranians/Russians/Chinese have cracked to code on stealth and can target such aircraft at will. 3 in 24 hours is a horrendous loss rate. OUCH!!! I see that the Haifa oil refinery is on fire too. Israel made a HUGE blunder in attacking Iran and it may well be the end of the Zionist project of world domination by the religious zealots that believe it is their God given duty to rule the world. Yeah sorry globalists but we don't want anything you are selling.

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP And as proof of the fact that they can be seen on radar they are now being shot down. I have heard of 2 someone else says 3. Hmmm How many does Israel have?
