@basilfawlty89 Honestly I think conservatives feel like they're the only ones who can bring back centuries old laws and want to establish centuries old systems.

I think it's only fair we can choose our time periods as well. I don't see how it's fair that cons pick out what they want.

This would be like going to Qatar for FIFA. You might be OK, buy you might be scooped up by authorities, because someone thinks you violated some rule.

Some athletes may skip it altogether. They may not want to deal with the stress of going through CBP repeatedly as they travel to games in the US, Canada and Mexico. Not to mention fans. Will Mexican and Canadian fans have to be pre apply? I plan on going to some games in Canada and Mexico.

@Northwest This is going a bit too far. I wish Trump would be stopped by lawmakers. He basically has ice being the establish law now and just showing up to games meant to be fun just to intimidate is pretty awful

My country is so ahead that we've purposefully lost to Norway 3-0, sacked the manager and potentially going to fail to qualify to even take part to the world cup (for the third time in a row) specifically to avoid this headache

The World Cup should move the U.S.-scheduled games to more Canadian cities. Looks like only Vancouver and Toronto are going to host some games.

FIFA should pull the games from Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle and give them to...

Calgary, Edmonton, Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa, Regina, Quebec and Winnipeg.

@beermeplease I think some of the games were already going to be played here in Canada. Not sure though. Not big into soccer but I seem to remember seeing that somewhere.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow the world cup is split between canada,usa and mexico. i think we are getting 7 games in my city (vancouver) and toronto is getting 6 or something like that in the group stage...i want to go to one but tickets are next to impossible to get
