Humanity - the current protests in Los Angeles are about people being treated less than human. One example is Being an undocumented resident is a misdemeanor. Being sent to a brutal prison in El Salvador is inhumane.

Separation of Powers/Checks and Balances - just because you agree with a President and are impatient for the change you want, doesn't mean we abandon this. There's reason all these executive orders are being thrown out or severely altered in the courts

California needs the labor that immigrants supply - every state is not the same. CA needs that labor, it's just a fact. Yours may not. Xenophobia is the most effective way of blurring this fact.
