Why do people use ‘we’ instead of having an opinion of their own?

@meJess Usually because liberals are timid people, which is partly why they keep losing elections. Instead of being brave enough to say I think this they say we think this. Gives them (imaginary) security in numbers.
You will also never see liberals disagree or deviate from the prescribed liberal view on any issue.
See the OP's comment. He has called Musk a deadbeat dad. The definition of a deadbeat dad is somebody who can't afford to provide for their family. Musk is the richest man in the world so he clearly can. Whatever you think of him he has enough wealth to provide for his family so he's not a deadbeat dad.
The liberal mindset is I don't like Musk. I don't like deadbeat dads. Therefore Musk must be a deadbeat dad.

Webster definition:
A "deadbeat dad" is an informal term for a father who neglects his parental responsibilities, particularly when it comes to financial support and/or contact with his children. It often implies intentional failure to meet court-ordered child support obligations or to spend time with the children.
✅A deadbeat dad is someone who doesn't pay child support, leaving the custodial parent to struggle financially.
✅Deadbeat dads are often described as being absent in their children's lives, meaning they don't spend time with them, don't actively participate in their lives, or don't provide emotional support.
A deadbeat dad is not someone who can't provide for their family. A deadbeat dad is someone who won't provide for their family.
Everything I say about Musk stands.
I enjoy your frustrated and impotent needling :)

@iamthe99 OK, I don't have knowledge of Musk's child situation.
But there's 2 issues here, emotional support and financial support. Given you don't like Musk do you think his children would be better of with more emotional support/contact with him or would they be better off without him in their lives?
