Deep State is a figure of speech denoting a harmful bureaucracy. Deep State could be depicted as a satanic cabal feeding on its own. It's nature is personal selfishness, the one defining characteristic of the US politician. Trump has become a politician.

@sree251 Deep State implies "They" are running things in the background. (Whoever they is) And clearly thats not the case. Nor has it ever been. There are allies of conveneince for a while. but that is for profit on a bigger scheme. Any grand plan (if one exists at all) requires power over the government to be surrendered to avert a major disaster. And so far the only force that seems capable of delivering that disaster is Trump himself. And his removal (for the good of the nation) would seem the obvious time to move to the next phase. If I am wrong then so be it. The corrosive division and corruption will continue after Trump. Either way, things are not looking good for most Americans...😷

Fair analysis.

Trump power comes from the people whose vision was championed by Trump; and that vision is now at odds with the agenda (Big Beautiful Bill) Trump is pushing along with his gang of politicians in Washington. No US President has ever worked for the people regardless of the fact that every one of them came from the ranks of ordinary people.

@sree251 I accept your points.. However (and this is analysis from a distance, so possibly flawed by my experience of my own country.) I would contend that Trumps power did actuially come from the voters. If they had not been complicit, then he would not be there..😷

Complicit? What's is wrong and illegal about my vote for Trump to give him the power to run the US Government? That power will be withdrawn in the mid-term elections now that he is messing up on both foreign and domestic policies. He will be a lame duck President when he loses voter support in the near future. His is a flaming star, and it doesn't last very long in the night sky.

@sree251 As it stands all you say is true.. However. About 86 million years ago, one of those flaming stars flashed brightly for a moment, then collided with the earth and changed its destiny forever. America was a sick, crippled economy before Trump, over burdened with debt ans covered in greedy parasaits. But kept on life support by the uniquitous $US and the goodwill of other nations who relied on America for trade or defence.. Trump unplugged the life support and threw the machine out the window. The damage he has done will not disappear with him. In fact it wont be undone at all. Even if Trump loses at the mid terms, he will still have veto over a lot of what would need to be undone.. And should he be removed, the internal strife that would follow could last for years and devolve into a civil war of sorts, even if its not a shooting war. CDalifornia has already mentioned withholding federal funding..Trump isnt just bad news that will go away.. Trump is a tipping point that has pushed America over the edge economically. And its not coming back..Its a question of how many vultures settle on the carcas and how soon...😷
