Good news, straight from the horse's mouth!

@realDonaldTrump

A lot of people are talking about CLIMATE CHANGE — and after speaking with some of the BEST scientists (not the fake ones), I have to say, it’s REAL. I’ve seen it. We’re seeing hotter summers, crazier storms, even golf courses having issues — and I LOVE golf, so this is personal!!

Unlike Crooked Joe and the Radical Left who just wanted to TAX you into poverty and send all your jobs to China, under TRUMP 47 we are going to fight climate change with AMERICAN STRENGTH 🇺🇸💪 — clean air, clean water, clean ENERGY — made right here in the USA.

We will plant a TRILLION TREES (a beautiful number!), invest in next-generation NUCLEAR (very safe, very smart), and dominate the GREEN ENERGY economy like no one has ever seen before. We’ll make it PROFITABLE, not pathetic.

No Paris deal needed — we’ll make our OWN deal. America FIRST, Earth FIRST. Let’s WIN against climate change and bring back common sense!

Take wind turbines. Huge amount of old school energy to create and install them, huge waste when their short lifespan is over and unknown bad side effects on animal life.
DEAD WRONG!!!

Let's take some life cycle analyses of wind turbines, calculating the grams of CO2-equivalent emitted per kWh generated over the whole life of the turbine. Onshore turbines can be as low as 4.9, up to to 11.8 g/kWh. Offshore wind turbines range from 10.9 to 25.5 g/kWh.

How about natural gas? 437 to 758 grams of CO2-equivalent per kilowatt-hour. Coal is worse, ranging from 675 to 1,689g/kWh.
Source is Yale University: https://yaleclimateconnections.org/2021/06/whats-the-carbon-footprint-of-a-wind-turbine/

Nope, @georgelong, the numbers don't support your claim. The numbers tell the OPPOSITE story!! Wind turbines are FAR FAR cleaner, like by factors of 15 to 100 or more!!!

As of now EV failure speaks for itself.
DEAD WRONG AGAIN !!!

This data is for the EU for 2023; new EV registrations continue to soar.

BYD electric vehicles are taking over the market in China

The cheapest, most environmentally friendly and efficient energy are lots and lots of SMALL nuclear energy plants.
Interesting claim; what data do you base it on? How many of these SMALL nuclear energy plants have been built so far? How many are in service??

I found exactly two in service; one in Russia, the other in China. I'd love to see your cost data on these small modular reactors!!
