A lot of people are talking about CLIMATE CHANGE — and after speaking with some of the BEST scientists (not the fake ones), I have to say, it’s REAL. I’ve seen it. We’re seeing hotter summers, crazier storms, even golf courses having issues — and I LOVE golf, so this is personal!!

Unlike Crooked Joe and the Radical Left who just wanted to TAX you into poverty and send all your jobs to China, under TRUMP 47 we are going to fight climate change with AMERICAN STRENGTH 🇺🇸💪 — clean air, clean water, clean ENERGY — made right here in the USA.

We will plant a TRILLION TREES (a beautiful number!), invest in next-generation NUCLEAR (very safe, very smart), and dominate the GREEN ENERGY economy like no one has ever seen before. We’ll make it PROFITABLE, not pathetic.

No Paris deal needed — we’ll make our OWN deal. America FIRST, Earth FIRST. Let’s WIN against climate change and bring back common sense!

Woody, it seems to me what he is saying it’s going to be dealt with in an American way not a French or elite dem lib way. Even you have to admit that to date the elite dem libs energy plans are failures. Take wind turbines. Huge amount of old school energy to create and install them, huge waste when their short lifespan is over and unknown bad side effects on animal life. As of now EV failure speaks for itself. Hopefully that will change. Right now sensible people like me go with hybrids. Trump mentions nuclear energy. The cheapest, most environmentally friendly and efficient energy are lots and lots of SMALL nuclear energy plants. That is today’s world. I vote to go with that plan for 20 years or so and then evaluate new alternatives and truly study them prior to rushing to implement them. @ElwoodBlues

The plan Woody outlined is. As is the plan to increase GNP through eliminating foreign trade barriers and selling more US goods abroad creating more tax revenue for the US government. Expenses aren’t going down. The only way to attract the deficit is to increase revenue. Economics 101. @iamthe99

@georgelong And tRump's tariff policies are doing exactly WHAT to foreign trade barriers?? His polices are RAISING foreign tariffs and foreign trade barriers.

In short, tRump is doing exactly the OPPOSITE of what you prescribe. Oh, and with one additional side effect: goodwill towards the US is down the drain.

For example, in Canada, there were millions of dollars of US bourbon & whisky already on store shelves and thus not tariffed. And Canadians STOPPED buying American booze. Almost all of it was shipped back. That's not a cost driven decision, that's a bad will towards US driven decision.

Whether or not your prescription for increased revenue is helpful, tRump ain't doin' it !!!

Absolutely. As of now a lot of small nuclear power plants is the smartest cleanest cheapest energy. I explained in another comment in this problems with wind turbines and EV’s that need fixing and suggest time be given for the fixes. We all know solar is a huge rip off only benefitting the installers. A scam. @iamthe99
