I think some very rich people think that min. wage jobs are only the domain of kids in high school or college looking for a little spending money, moms making a little extra for the household, or older people "keeping busy"...

You also are confusing "very rich" with "billionaire"; while the latter are of course very rich, there are lots of very rich people who are not billionaires.
When I went to college, there were a lot of people who, by normal American standards, were "very rich" in that they had no idea of what/who "the poor" were (they thought that the upper middle class was "poor"). These were the same people who actually believed that the only difference between the "poor" and their dads making serious money back then was that the poor needed to simply "get a job". lol
