Finland has ended homelessness.

And not because they’re a “crazy socialist country”.

You can do capitalism and run a profitable business in Finland.

However, the big difference is that Finland decided that ending homelessness did not need to be a profitable business.

I can't imagine anyone wanting to live on the streets in Finland to begin with. One would freeze to death.

I couldn't imagine one wanting to live in the suburbs of America. That would be a fate worse than death.

Let's see. Comfortable housing, a family atmosphere, a place far away from the crowded crime infested city? A fate worse than death?

And yet I have a cousin who lives in Queens. She hears police sirens day and night. Swears she couldn't live without that sound.

You're painting a picture of this quaint little American life that doesn't actually exist anywhere in your world except within the mind of it's thinker. Nice try, but the world already knows what goes on in the USA, thanks to the likes of Donald Trump and his far-right fascist agenda.
