@Patriot96 Nope. It's not like he started from nothing. He claims to have not received significant financial support after high school, but his family was wealthy during his youth, and his father's wealth came from engineering and a stake in an emerald mine.

He also received a loan of $28,000 from his father to start his first company, Zip2.

@AthrillatheHunt As I have said, not all billionaires start from wealth. They start from a combination of inherited wealth, government subsidies, tax loopholes, labour exploitation, and policy failure.

You realise that the mean income in the US is $74500?

Take away the top 10 richest people in the US, it drops to $65,000.

Take away the top 50 richest people in the US, it drops to $48000

Take away the top 1000 richest people in the US, the average income is just $35,500

You don't make $1 billion, you take $1 billion.
