A candidate backed by both Trump and Putin??!!!!! Hmmm….
helenS · 36-40, F
@trollslayer Yes why not! Both hate Europe...
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@trollslayer It is fantasy. Anything short of foaming at the mouth rabid, and blind support for NATO , and the EU is "pro Putin" now.
I see they ignore the fact they cancelled the election where they didn't get the results they wanted.
Nothing says democracy more than " hold elections over and over till you get the results you want".

@newjaninev2 Whatever it is it is obvious the western BS about democracy is just about talking points.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I'm confused isn't it good that the far right wing lost in Romania??
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@SatanBurger That would be true if we were talking about the far right. "far right" has been code for awhile for anyone who is not rabidly foaming at the mouth anti Russian and not 100% willing to go to any length including tank their own country for NATO and US interests in Europe.
And it is not just conservatives that have had enough with the status quo and it is not just the right wing that are being deliberately sabotaged.
And the leftist parties who are also not behind the NATO agenda get painted as the same extremists. Germany is a good example of this.
And if they are rigging elections one way it is only a mater of time before they rig it for any party they don't like.
The claims that this is about the far right might also be taken more seriously if they were not supporting literal nazis in the proxy war people are rebelling against.
This is starting to get as stupid as the Obama era "good Al Quaeda vs bad Al Qaueda" which they are still doing btw with the terrorist being praised in Syria.
As for the Romanian politician who had the first election stolen from them they were as near as I can tell about as far right as the Cheney family. Not my brand of politics but hardly fascists.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow This explains things well, I'm just personally taking any victory against any far right politician being knocked back a few pegs. I'm just sick of them, but it's in the context of an American mindset. I'm so sick of them though.
