Republicans about to get what they wanted

Empty store shelves, remember when we all can't get food that the ones who voted for this were conservatives and fence sitters who are democrat one year and not the next and not the next, just like a fad diet

You're shopping at the wrong store! All the stores in my area are fully stocked and prices are slowly coming down!

@fanuc2013 Anecdotal.

@fanuc2013 that’s the same store the Fox anchors shop at.

The 90 days pause in tariffs announced over the weekend will allow merchants to restock up giving Trump another opportunity to rattle the market and allow hi cronies to reap trading benefits.

@BohemianBabe I wonder when this nightmare of really bad governance will end.
@SatanBurger I don't want to be pessimistic, but the Democrats are so weak now, I have the feeling if the Republicans decided to suspend elections, the Democrats would just let them.

@BohemianBabe Your pessimism is shared lol so I feel the same way. That's why we need more people like Jasmine Crockett.

Dont speak too soon.. Maybe Chinese imports will leave shelves empty. But food prices will rise considerably before shortages happen..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Well we get what we wanted either way, either food prices rising and food shortages next but Americans wanted it. Just like America farmers are struggling to make ends meet after half their labor either don't show up out of fear or get deported to prisons for being hard workers all their lives because Americans are petty like that. But we wanted it that way.

@SatanBurger I happen to agree with you. I just see the economics playing out in a different order..Local shortages of perishables always show up as price rises first.. The best example of what happens if you hold the line on prices when shortages happen in staples is the Irish Potato Famine,..😷
