Trump to accept luxury jet from Qatar's royal family. Is this right or wrong?

President Donald Trump is poised to accept a luxury Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet from the Qatari royal family that will be converted as the new Air Force One.

In essence, the Defense Department is getting a GIFT, FREE OF CHARGE, of a 747 aircraft to replace the 40 year old Air Force One, temporarily, in a very public and transparent transaction. "It so bothers the Crooked Democrats that they insist we pay, TOP DOLLAR, for the plane. Anybody can do that!" Trump said. "The Dems are World Class Losers!!!"

Attorney General Pam Bondi and Trump's top White House lawyer, David Warrington, concluded it would be "legally permissible" for the jet to be donated as long as it is transferred to Trump’s presidential library before his term ends.

It is corrupt. For all the reasons you've been given here. Trump railed against democrats, claiming a banana republic was being created. Corruption is what creates and defines that type of government. Trump wallows in that type of corruption.
There is nothing innovative about it. There are laws that prohibit these kinds of "gifts". Those laws are to protect us. If you can not understand why, or if you just don't care, well...you just quoted a trump truth social post. Verbatim. And you believe it.
So, not thinking it through and blindly accepting his justification for illegalities makes you no more than a common cultist tool.

Were you one of the people that was all worked up about the biden crime family? With no evidence, certain that biden was trading favors for payments. It didnt happen, but the numbers were what? 5 million? Ten?
This is a four hundred million dollar gift. And Qatar wants stuff. They are meeting trump in days. I bet they get that stuff...

@Carla Buying American weapons is buying into the US military web. You cannot use US weapons to attack the US and its allies. You end up being controlled by the weapons supplier, namely the USA.
