Trump to accept luxury jet from Qatar's royal family. Is this right or wrong?

President Donald Trump is poised to accept a luxury Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet from the Qatari royal family that will be converted as the new Air Force One.

In essence, the Defense Department is getting a GIFT, FREE OF CHARGE, of a 747 aircraft to replace the 40 year old Air Force One, temporarily, in a very public and transparent transaction. "It so bothers the Crooked Democrats that they insist we pay, TOP DOLLAR, for the plane. Anybody can do that!" Trump said. "The Dems are World Class Losers!!!"

Attorney General Pam Bondi and Trump's top White House lawyer, David Warrington, concluded it would be "legally permissible" for the jet to be donated as long as it is transferred to Trump’s presidential library before his term ends.

The President accepting a jet is perfectly fine ... but I believe the rule states that all gifts legally have to stay with the office, in this case the office of President.

But they're also going to sweep it for hidden microphones and put 500 million dollars worth of Presidential tech in it, to make it Air Force one ready.

Therefore, donating the gift away from America and the office of President would be wrong, as they're basically illegally keeping it, just like crooked Hillary kept the White House good China when she left. Except Hillary's item didn't come with 500 million dollars worth of tech.

Also, Trump in his 2016 time in office, stopped the current Air Force One plane and demanded a bunch of upgrades... which he insistent to pay top dollar to make it so much more expensive, not the Democrats, so he's lying.

If Trump, or Trump's library wants the plane, then it should be donated to those places, not to the President... and it should not have the 500 million of Presidential tech installed as it then would not be Air Force one.

This is very wrong, in multiple ways.

This is very wrong, in multiple ways.

It could be wrong based on your definition of the rules. Creative accounting has opened new ways to conduct business without breaking the law. De-regulation is the name of the game. New ways of doing old things is innovation. This is what made America great.
@sree251 No they're not my definition of the rules, they're the law, and it's not my law, it's the American law that all in America are supposed to follow.

Are you an accountant?

No, stealing 500 million from the American people is not what makes America great...

And no, illegal actions is not what makes America great....

And they're not de-regulation anything, they're just straight breaking the law ... de-regulating is when you change the law first, they aren't even attempting to do that.
