To be fair, this is the statue he had behind him in the Oval Office, during his press briefing following the meeting with the UK Prime Minister, so someone else put it there, and they probably said it's to commemorate our WWII victory, but they forgot to say "in Europe".
@Northwest the idea that he is so ignorant of history that his aides have to direct him(erroneously) really speaks volumes though. He is the emptiest man i think ive ever observed.
