... I'm sorry Patriot... but it's the reverse. THE TRUTH about this matter, is clearly not your "presidents' truth". Why not? Because the entire movement he represents doesn't like the truth. They actively revel and embrace lies as long as these lies feel good to the movement and keeps the liar in power.
That's exactly why J.D. Vance says that he's okay with making up stories as long as it draws attention
(and bolsters support) for things they want to execute. That's why conservative think tanks are concerned about uncrtically pushing abstract unproven ideas like "American exceptionalism" into higher education. That's why your president and the entire movement, has issues with investigating journalists AND scientists that measure the stuff your administration is talking about. That's why your president, has to use a sharpy to change the trajectory of a hurricane, on a map created by meteorologists. That's why the base rather listens to pundits then scientists and investigating journalists. That's why Donald Trump, has projects like the 1776 project, and wants to introduce a "pro-American curriculum that celebrates the truth". And that's exactly why Donald Trump and the members of the movement dislike fact-checks and dislike the concept of "free-speech" if that free-speech makes him angry. That's why Trump demands investigations in every election he competed AND polling stations, where the results doesn't match the fantasy. That's why the litmus test for MAGA employees in governement office, is to accept the lie that the election of 2020 was stolen. He even goes as far as telling his faithfull, to
not believe what you see and read, for that information hasn't been filtered by the orange calf and his "Ministry of Truth".
(This isn't even hyperbolic, if you look at how simplistic complex things get discussed in the MAGA-era, and how words like "illegal" become catch-alls for all complex situations)THE TRUTH, has no place in the cultish environment of the MAGA-verse.
