Military action against Canada is ‘highly unlikely’

Before his White House meeting on Tuesday with newly elected Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, Trump is not backing away from the rhetoric that has angered Canadians.

Trump, however, told NBC that it was “highly unlikely” that the U.S. would need to use military force to make Canada the 51st state.

Obviously there's a shitload more stuff in the 60 minutes interview, but I thought this even tops his desire to get rif of "due process", legally of course, because he has brilliant lawyers, who will figure out how to do it, even though he will listen to what SCOTUS says,

There is zero chance of any military interaction between the US and Canada. Canadian authorities might however use their military should any of the western provinces try to secede whether or not they seek to join the US.

@redredred Looks like you missed the results of the Canadian elections. Hint: the guy who was sucking up to Trump, lost. Biggly.

@Northwest Nope, he was at the white house sucking up just a couple of days ago.

Well look at that! You missed the entire post-meeting press conference, but I can see you were told all about by Fox, naturally.

In reality, Carney used the meeting to show his new found power (thanks to Trump), to tell Trump the way things will be run, and Trump singing Carney's praises and how much Trump loves Canada.

@redredred You clearly watched nothing of the actual meeting. My guess is you waited for the FOX op-ed 😂

@SW-User I havent watched Fox News in years. I get my information from a variety of sources. Carney spent more time on his knees than Monica did. Canadians elected a weaker turd than Trudeau, somehow.

Another conformation that you live under a rock.

@redredred I loved the part where the american buffoon said "we don't do much business with Canada", whereas Canada is america's largest trading partner.
The sideways look from the Canadian is priceless!
