Even tech industry Trump knew wouldn't come to America yet to India. Much of this was already happening.

There's an additional side, but very lucrative side-benefit. When companies do stock buybacks, they can offer stock incentives to executives.
A stock options grant is given to an exec. The option would be priced at the lowest stock price in a month or a quarter, then buybacks pushes the stock price higher. Now the executive will be exercise the option at the lower price and sell it at the new higher price.

Well makes sense I did not read all of it. But ups had to give out big raises. So now they have to cut costs.
