@BohemianBabe Not to overstate the obvious , but aren’t these the same polls that told us he had no chance of winning ? So they lied then but are truthful now ?

@AthrillatheHunt Most polls never said he had no chance of winning. They said it was pretty much a coin toss, and it kinda was. Trump got a majority of votes, but it was a relative majority, as most people actually voted for someone other than Trump. And yeah, he won every swing state, but it was extremely close in each swing state.
So yeah, the polls were correct in predicting that it would be a super close election.

@AthrillatheHunt Sure, the polls are never accurate on every single thing. But they said it would be extremely close, and when you consider how close it was in each swing state, it was.
The only time the polls really got it wrong was in 2016. Other than that, they've been fairly accurate in recent times.
