Malthus did a number on humanity when he proclaimed the end of the world because there were too many humans. Humanity's numbers have been in a dive and sadly it is increasing as the transhumanists among us are busily reducing the birth rate by abortion and cheap birth control and forcing women to do men's work. Of course there are other means as well. Our food and water and even the air we breathe has been contaminated to reduce the hormones needed for fertility.
