A mental exercise that helps clarify our thinking and priorities
Recall and rank order the top five most evil & dangerous individuals in tRUMP’s inner circle. Notice that relative ineptitude and incompetence are not criteria—e.g. RFK, Jr and Collins probably aren’t particularly evil or outright dangerous (although arguably Bobbie Jr’s ideas are dangerous) so they wouldn’t make the top five. There are plenty to chose from so rank your five from worst to slightly less worse.
Here are mine:
1. Stephen Miller—a prime mover carry over from the 1st tRUMP misadministration where he set up inhumane concentration types of overcrowded horror camps and separated minor children from their families and kept no records to reverse this despicable crime against humanity in the future. He is the epitome of the type of evil people who kept Hitler in power.
2. Pete Hegseth—who deliberately and premeditatedly violated multiple well established national operational security protocols repeatedly then lied to divert responsibility. The very same things he had accused Hillary Clinton of years earlier on network television and now those very taped accusations re-surface pointing the finger at him. What does he do? He engages in a mass purge to attempt to punish the very people who stood up to his reckless and criminal behavior. Leaving aside the de facto alcoholism, this man is dangerous because of the position he is in. And it’s clear that his intent is to destroy our armed forces from the inside out.
3. Pam Bondi—extremely dangerous because of her utter corruption and bending of laws and regulations to the extreme to cater to the felon in Chief and his agenda of revenge against the brave few who stood up to him.
4. Vance—dangerous for his unwillingness & cowardice to stand up to tRUMP. Just as inept as Pence, but worse, because even Pence had a red line that he wouldn’t cross on January 6th. One of Vance’s key responsibilities is to hold true to the Constitution and his oath of office because he is the final check to a rogue POTUS and it’s obvious he has no soul.
5. Two names here: Alito and Thomas. SCOTUS members who have been bought and paid for, who have strong ties to tRUMP’s January 6th insurrection and who are supporting his unconstitutional grab for dictatorial powers.
