From the sounds of the Trump supporters I know, the honeymoon is over. Even his biggest fans are admitting the tariffs are affecting them

Now the story has changed to "Well he's doing this so that the US can have manufacturing back ten years from now".

That's a sad shift from "Trump is going to fix the economy" and is also not possible to manufacture in the US given Trump's other policies
