Can Trump ignore the spooks and get away with it?

Everyone knows that Russia a real and present danger to liberty and traditional freedom in today's world and especially the USA. The CIA and FBI have advised Trump that Russia is interfering in American politics and he just dismisses the warning. The history professor who predicted his victory when many people refused to believe he was popular enough to win recently predicted that he would be impeached over conflicts of interest. In his post election meeting with President Obama, Obama said to him "running an organisation as big as the USA is a bit different to running a family business. You have to be much more thoughtful and tactful as President". Will Trump listen or will he be impeached? Speaking as an Australian I do not get a vote in the US election but we all share the same planet and I am not impressed with Trump.

I'm pretty sure Trump doesn't care.

Hello Xuan12. I'm pretty sure Donald Duck Trump cares about something but not something that can be defined in terms of policy. It can only be defined in terms of rhetoric that appeals to the disengaged and disgruntled. The rhetoric of failed leaders throughout all history. There are many among us who heard that rhetoric during WWII, but democracy prevailed, and god willing will prevail again. The best we can do for the disgruntled and disengaged is encourage them to think for themselves. If they see the threat to democracy they will understand what we all have to lose if we don't stand up for it.
