@Corporalcolleague Thanks for recognizing that. I wasn’t upset when Obama put his portrait up either. They’re the president and can hang whatever picture they want. It doesn’t bother me in the least nor most people. 🤷🏻‍♂

@carpediem you are of course welcome. Again perhaps most people maybe in your orbit could care less, but I don't think most people know about, especially if they haven't had the privilege of visiting our nation's capital or been to the WH to see the presidential portraits. The spot where Obama's portrait was hung is the spot where traditionally the last official presidential portrait gets hung and has for years. Biden's official portrait would ordinarily have gone there when it is completed and Obama's moved then. After Trump's term is over his official portrait would replace Biden's and so on....but this president has zero respect for norms and customs, clearly, so he fueled his own need for affirmation and adulation. Not a thing for you, understood, but it bothered me hence my post. I would suspect those who could care less might just scroll on by and ignore it...but guess we will see. Thank you though for your comment.
